Twelve years ago…it was a regular day at work for Scott Simon. Little did he know, his life was about to change forever. Heavy equipment broke loose on the work site, breaking his back. His spine was severed, leaving him without the use of his legs. His normal, hard working life, was now challenged like never before. Scott knew his wife Connie and five children were counting on him. He never gave up. He stood up in spirit and found strength in his faith. He rebuilt his life, earning a Master’s from Tulane and starting his own business.
Scott Simon is active in many civic, church and community organizations. He was named Citizen of the Year in Abita Springs, has served as President of the Jaycees and was honored by the Archdiocese of New Orleans with the St. Louis medallion.
Scott Simon will get results and demand reform in Baton Rouge. Scott has over come great obstacles and is determined to succeed for the people of Louisiana.
